Hey, Can someone please explain to me why is it ok to say: I'm looking forward to seeing you. but not ok I'm hope to seeing you soon

Can someone please explain to me why is it ok to say:
I'm looking forward to seeing you.

but not ok

I'm hope to seeing you soon

'I am hope . . . ' is incorrect.. It is not an English tense.
You can say

eg Simple Present I hope
eg Present Continuous I am hoping

I hope to / I am hoping to must be followed by a base verb
eg I am hoping to see you
eg I am hoping to cook

I look forward to / I am looking forward to must be followed by a noun eg I look forward to dinner
or by something that is like a noun., such as a gerund.eg I look forward to seeing you'.
