Phrasal verb

Hi, please help me with this:

1. Can I say: "She raised out of the water and then dived in again"? - I don't know if the bold phrasal verb I used is correct.

2. Say "The hotel we've checked out was amazing" or "The hotel we've checked out of was amazing"?

2. If you mean you ended your stay, say "The hotel we've checked out of was amazing." Present Perfect suggests you checked out not long ago. If you left a longer time ago, use Simple Past and say "The hotel we checked out of was ama
