Hello everyone,

A. Are the words "photo, image, and picture" always interchangeable?

B. Can we call an image that is uploaded into facebook "photo"?

Eg. I uploaded two photos in my facebook account.

Image and picture are more general words. They can include photos as well as other kinds, like drawings, paintings and engravings. You could use one of those when you don't need or don't intend to mention what kind of image in particular you are referring to.


Photo has a particular meaning.
