Photo of .... by courtesy of ....

Hello,

if I have taken a picture off the Internet to post it on my Facebook, should I write: "Photo of a sleepwalker (or Sleepwalker photo) by courtesy of ..."?

Is it common to use such a sentence to give credits to the owner of the photo?

Thank You

You can only say it's by courtesy of somebody if that person has actually courteously granted you explicit permission to use the photo. No amount of unilateral verbiage gets you past copyright.
