Photo

If we do comment on a photo as "contrasting photo" what should it really mean? Can it be taken as a compliment? Will it only mean the thing which has been photographed is really beautiful?

Please suggest.

In photographic terms, contrast describes the difference between the lightest and darkest parts of the photo. Photos which contain areas of deep shadow and bright sunlight are said to be 'contrasting'. Taken out of context it is not a compliment or an insult.
