Phonics

Just a question about phonics. Pretty green when it comes to teaching it. For eg cat you would sound out the individual sounds "c" "a" "t"
chair "ch" "a" "i" "r". How would you teach phonetically the words restaurant(British pronunciation)supermarket and coffee shop? Cheers! best wishes Chris
