It seems that the pronunciation of the past participle of "bless"; that is, "blessed" is /blesd/ not /blest/. I am confused about this because I understand that "s" is an unvoiced consonant; therefore, the pronunciation of the aforementioned word in the past tense is supposed to be /blest/... right?

Please give me your feedback.

As a verb it's /bl?st/. As an an adjective it's /bl?s?d/.

My stay in Tours has been blessed /bl?st/ with bright, sunny weather.

My daughter is pregnant with twins. I would like some advice to give her to prepare for the blessed /bl?s?d/ event.
