I'm no expert, but I believe it is the vowel sound in 'gut'. I found it on this wiki page: the occurrence table has a very brief audio for it

As the wiki page says, I think you have to be careful with examples. 'Gut' is probably OK. But it's true that the vowel tends to change in other words
