Phone terms

Hello everybody,

I have some questions about cell phone/phone terms.

I use a cell phone in a mute option/position (without ringtone) to analyze a level of RF radiation
from him. I call on this phone from other one through the computer program,
which gives constant repetition of dial (call) just after previous call reset. I
don't answer on the calls, just receive signals. It lasts during some time, and
each call lasts about 30 sec.

Is this understandable? How can I explain this correctly?
