Phone call

- My friend called me a few seconds ago, but I had to end the call because I was busy. so now I want to send her a message, can I write like this?

"Sorry I couldn't answer your call / Sorry I couldn't answer your phone call because I'm having a meeting right now, but we can text each other. Please sympathize and understand for me."
