Can somebody help me with my cover letter and do me a favor for correcting my letter?

This is XXX, who studies master of electronic engineering (embedded systems) in Polytechnic of Turin. I also work with CAD group of Polito (http://www.cad.polito.it/).

Currently I’m working on my thesis , it’s title is: scan chain testing through SBST algorithm. Also I worked on one another related topic: Testing the memory unit of VLIW processor through SBST(for this project we are going to publish a paper). Also in next month we are going to start a new project. Also I had a project with professor XXXX about CUDA platform on GPUs.

My supervisor (Prof XXXX: Email Removed) introduced you as a active group of this field(Testing) and also he said that our group and also my professor himself have some cooperation with you and your group. And he can recommend me as his student to your group.
By looking on your website seems there are some research subject that can greatly fit with my background and interest area, such as:
- Self-test techniques for complex processors or
-Automatic extraction of test knowledge from behavioral model
