Phases "once upon the other"

Hi

What is the meaning of "once upon the other"?

If I want to describe one action or one action immediately after the other, can I say "one immediately the other"?

Thanks

"One after another" and "one after the other" are common. " Sorry. " "Upon" is usually a spacial sequence, but I've heard it used temporally.
