Pertain or pertinent

How would you properly say these sentences please?

1 The recap only shows you what's pertinent to the episode you are about to watch.
2 These deaths pertain/are pertinent to the investigation/are connected to our investigation.
3 We are interested in proposals that pertain/are pertinent to this issue.
