Persuasive Essay!

Hello. I am in the 7th grade.
We were just assigned to do a persuasive essay and I have to write a thesis statement tonight. I need some help; Because.. well I have no idea what a Thesis Statement it.
My topic; I disagree with the statement that NC should close all fast food resturants.
Why; 1. Some are healthy; Subway.
2.They don't force us to eat out at fast food resturants, it's a choice.
3. They do warn us of the health risks.
