Persuade

Hello,
1. "You can do well in the competition. Go ahead."

Using "persuade", the above sentence needs to be converted into the reported speech.

She Persuaded me that I could do well in the exam.

Is the above sentence correct?

Thanks.

There is nothing in the direct quote to indicate the person was persuaded. If you are told you must use the word "persuade", then all I can think of is something like "She tried to persuade me ...". I am not completely sure what is expected. Are there any more words in the question?

I don't understand why you've changed "competition" to "exam". Also "persuaded" should not be capitalised.
