Personnel in transfer of business

Hi!

I'm looking for a term with the following content: Let's say someone sells a business to someone else. In our Finnish legal system the employees of the company that is sold often continue to work for the new owner as 'veteran employees', i.e. they continue work with the same salary and other terms of employment that they had with the previous owner. How do I say this in English? The sentence would be something like this: 'The employees of Ben's Hardware continue at John's Hardware Store with as veteran employees' [with the same terms of employment]
