Personification

"Gather ye rosebusds while ye may
Old Time is still a-flying
And this same flower that smiles today
Tomorrow will be dying"
Hello, my teacher said that there is no personification in the sentence that I indicated. However, I could not understand.

Also, the same goes for this too,
"The red rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love"
She said that you can not say there is personification wherever there is a human feature. Can you help me please? What am I going to do in the exam?
