Personification

"I did not know then that pride is a wonderful, terrible thing, a seed that bears two vines, life and death"

Does this quote from "The Scarlet Ibis" contain personification? I'm pretty sure it contains a metaphor and an oxymoron, but the personification I'm not so sure.....

I was hoping this is where I should ask this if I am wrong...I'm sorry!
