Personally

1. Though we dont know each other/ not personally I know you well through our common friends.

Is the above sentence right? If I want to write some good qualities about the person where can I fit it.

for eg:

2. Though we dont know each other personally I have heard about your friendly nature/ how friendly you are though our common friends.

Please suggest.

I would use the format of the second sentence. However, set off the introductory phrase with a comma, as follows: Al though we don ' t know each other personally , I have heard about your friendly nature though our common friends.
