Personal Study: The Last Firm

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out, I'm sitting intermediate 2 and I'm starting my personal study, I was wondering if the book of 'The Last Firm' is a good book for my personal study? And if it is a fairly easy book for doing this.
