I am trying to introduce how to write a personal statement and its important to my students and if you find any problems in the following sentences, can I have your comments? Thanks in advance.
starting this week and over the next few weeks, we will work on personal statement.. Have you heard about personal statement? what is a personal statement? It is an essay about yourself. In other words, it is a summary of your... Then, why do you have to write it? Because most colleges require their applicants to submit it with other stuff, such as your transcripts and portfolio. Personal statemtn provide you with an opporunity to let them know who you are. If your PS is good, your chance of getting admitted to the school of your interest will be high, but if not, it can hurt your chance for admission.
