Hello everybody!
I'm not sure about the expression personal growth and development. Can you please help me to find something more appropriate? I think growth and development have the same meaning in this sentence. The expression works in my language but it doesn't sound natural in English. I'm not sure if effort and endavour are OK, too.
The result of negotiation is therefore mostly in our own hands and it depends on the effort and endavour put in and on the preparation for the process as well as on the personal growth and development in this area.

I find 'growth and development' a much more familiar phrase (even if redundant) than 'effort and endeavor' (which is raucously redundant). Who precisely is growing and developing, however?
