Personal boy scout...

Clark: Look, did those guys give it to you? Whitney, they're bad news.

Whitney: You spend all your time trying to steal Lana. Now suddenly
you want to become my own personal Boy Scout. (protector?)

Clark: That's not true.
Whitney: It's tough seeing yourself (tough for Whitney or for Clark?) the way others see you, isn't it, Kent?

Clark: Stay away from those guys.

Whitney: You're not my father, Kent. Now get the hell out of here.

Boy Scouts of America is an organization for boys where they learn good qualities, like helping others in need. Protector is good in this case. Tough for Clark: it is tough for you, Clark, to see yourself as others see you.

Thanks, Philip. I asked for the 'tough' because sometimes yourself
is used in the meaning of you and thought Whitney was talkin' about himself.
