Perplexing questions

Choose the correct answer:

1- Ten minutes……..passed. Let's wait five more.

My answer:

  • 1-(b) have passed . When do we use a singular verb after a period of time?
  • 2-(a) My friend says that we use the future perfect tense with expressions like "in two hours' time" Is that right?
  • 3-(a) Can we use the future perfect with "in five minutes"?
