Is there any difference between 'work permit' and 'work visa'? I often find myself using them interchangably.
Thanks!

My guess is that a 'work permit' is exactly that: a document issued giving a person permission to work in a particular place (city park, beach, market).
A 'work visa' is a document that gives a non-citizen (visiting the country) pemission to work (have a job) where he or she is living for a while.
