Re: Request for issue of Permanent Resident Permit under Critical Skills Visa Category Sec 27 (B) for candidate holding employment at South Africa (Passport No) under the category of Academics /Researchers.
Dear Sir
I would request you to kindly issue me a Permanent Residence Permit as I am employed with xxxxx in South Africa as an academician since last April(April 2016) and strongly feel that with my skill sets I can contribute to the academic fraternity in South Africa and have an effective and meaningful role in the development of the country by contributing to the academia in South Africa.
I have a Masters in Research Degree with concentration in Strategic Management from ESADE Business School Barcelona (Ranked in Top 20 amongst the Business Schools in the world by Financial Times www.ft.edu) and have worked with Ministry of Manpower Oman in an academic role.
I was also awarded the prestigious Talent Scholarship and Financial Aid by ESADE governing body in association with Barcelona Government for pursuing my studies in ESADE. My Master’s thesis is in the area of Strategic Alliances highlighted pharmaceutical alliances which got published in the prestigious INFORMS Journal (Korean Chapter).
As a Researcher I am also associated with Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies Journal as an Independent Reviewer which is reckoned as a top journal in the field of Business and Management.
I had worked with reputed institutions like Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad in India, a premier Business School (ranked in top 30 by Financial Times UK) (http://www.isb.edu/www.ft.edu) during my tenure in academia.
During my stay with Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad in India I had the privilege of personally working with renowned professors from International Business Schools like Harbir Singh (The Wharton School University of Pennsylvania); Phanish Puranam (London Business School); Akbar Zaheer, Harbir Singh, and Prashant Kale (University of Minnesota and The Wharton School); Rama Velamuri (IESE Business School, Barcelona); Atul Nerkar (Kenan Flagler Business School,UNC Chapel Hill). Anand Narsimhan (IMD Lausanne);Luis M. Martins (College of Management,Georgia Tech) etc to name a few.
I have a judicious blend of corporate and academic experiences of around 15 years and can act as a teacher/mentor and researcher in an academic setting. My publications in top international journals like Emerald Emerging Markets had further strengthened my research acumen and I can be an asset to the academic fraternity of South Africa.
I earnestly request you to grant me a Permanent Residence at South Africa in order to contribute effectively to the intellectual capital of the country as a whole as well become a milieu of change for others too.
Thanks and Regards
