Vocabulary

Period, there, ..

Hello there,

how can I understand the "period, there, " in this sentence:

"You might need to learn how to play football, period, there, Turf Toe."

Context ... the player named Toe is angry because the team owner (a she) put him back to number two in team, and he says:
I didn´t know that I had to learn how to play football on a matress. ... and the sentence is the answer ...
But I don´t know exactly, what this period, there, means?

Thanks for helping, guys :-)

The two words are two different things. Her "period" means "with no other considerations". He might have said, "I need to learn how to play football better", and her answer would mean that he does not know how to play at all right now.
