Perhaps compound nouns or verbs with hypen and are they OK?

Hi. Please help. I think the following are correct sentences. Do you have some guidelines for such uses as these?

1. He came to impart the Christ-life. (I think it is also correct to write, "He came to impart the life of Christ.")
2. He thinks you should be spirit-filled to be an effective and efficient worker of God. (Again, I think it is also correct to write, "He thinks you should be filled with the Spirit to be an effective and efficient worker of God.")

1. He came to impart the Christ-life. (I think it is also correct to write, "He came to impart the life of Christ.")
I don't think this is a good use of the verb "impart.." Maybe this:"He came to impart his knowledge of the life of Christ."
