What is a perfect pass?

When playing chess, the player has no excuses for his blunders. A teammate didn't drop a perfect pass or miss a shot.

It's a pass of the ball in American football or rugby from one player to another that arrives exactly where it is intended to arrive. With an imperfect pass, the ball may not arrive in the the hands of the player it is intended to arrive in.
