Perfect pass

Hi
What is a perfect pass?

When playing chess, the player has no excuses for his blunders. A teammate didn't drop a perfect pass or miss a shot.

Thanks in advance

It's a pass of the ball in American football or rugby from one player to another that arrives exactly where it is intended to arrive. With an imperfect pass, the ball may not arrive in the the hands of the player it is intended to arrive in. If the second player fumbles the catching of an otherwise perfect pass, he may try to blame the first player.

Why?

Why does anyone ever try to shift the blame for their own failures?
0
Because they are short-sighted

I don't think shifting the blame for one's own shortcomings onto others has much to do with myopia.

Sure it has.
How can one try to improve their behaviour if they don't recognize it?

You are asking about people's behaviour, soheil. This has nothing to do with the original question about language.

No, my reply was not meant as a real question. Rather as as answer

Sorry. The question mark fooled me.

No problem.

Does the whole sentence mean that a teammate throws an exact pass into his hands ? This is how I translated it.Do you have a better suggestion?
