Perfect continuous tense

Hello,i need some help

It says that present continuous tense is used in talking about an action that started in the past and has stopped recently. So i started wondering why don't use present simple tense?

Take the examples shown in the picture,
1)After running,we say i'm tired now,i have been running. Why use present continuous tense instead of present simple tense ?

Present continuous tense seems like a continuous action to describe i have been running for a long time, now i'm tired but i'm still running when i'm talking that i'm tired.

Why don't say that i'm tired,i have run (maybe i can add "for a long time" ).

2)Why is the grass wet (now),has it been raining?
After rainfall and you can see the grass on a field is wet, will you say :
" has it been raining? " or " has it rained ? "

"Has it been raining" makes sense to me as it's not a completed sentences and it seems still to be raining.

"Has it been raining ?" as if i'm asking about how long has it been raining.

3)You don't understand because you haven't been listening. This sentences doesn't work to me,i've no idea about why use present perfect tense.

  • -- No, that is not true.

  • -- That is not present continuous; that is present perfect continuous.
  • In that sentence, we can tell that the action has stopped only because it says 'After running'; otherwise, the person could still be running.
