By perception we mean the mental activity of appreciating our sensory experiences like hearing the lecture of the teacher, looking at the emerging sun, feeling the warmth of touch and so on, whereas a conception is something or somebody or some event held as an idea in our long term memory formed through past perceptions, like a soccer, an accident, garments, etc.
