Hello to everyone,

The questions I want answered are : Is peoples a word?

: If it is, in what context can it be used?

The following sentence was given to us in class to be research (common mistakes made in speech/writting) :
  • The invention was worked on by many peoples from all over the world.
Arguement being, if many different groups of people from different places came together to form a group can, peoples be used as the plural word for each group in that group?
