Can you help?

Is the word "peoples" correct? I don't know whether it is acceptable to the natives.

The word 'people' can be used as a countable noun - the people who belong to a particular country, race, or area:

As a native speaker, I don't use the word "people" as a verb in ordinary conversation. It is rarely seen in literature. I can't remember using it even one time as a verb in the past ten years.

Most of the time (99 times out of 100), people is a plural word, used with a plural verb. This is the way I normally (and frequently) use it in conversation:
