Peoples

Hi,

People is the plural of Person, isn't it?

So why do we sometimes use people with the plural "s"?

E.g: Latin peoples shout a lot.

Hi Iman. As you said people is a mass noun and should not have any plural forms. But interestingly, people has another meaning as nation, so when you are using peoples you are refering to different nations.
