People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks (summary)
I have read this book a month ago and forgot some of the details. Could you please give a short summary of each time the book goes to a past event. For example the first time when it talks about Lula and her escape and the people she meets up with then the saving of the book. Then another event when a Jewish man and a priest discuss whether the book should be burned.
My question is basically to take each of these events and summarizing them with the character names. Nothing too big, I just don't have the book anymore and wanted to make sure I remembered those.
