People Loving Person

I am wondering if it's acceptable/not weird or grammatically wrong to say "people loving person."

I am aware that "people person" exists but that conveys the meaning that the person is popular among people (not just social).

I would use a hyphen to make the compound adjective: He's a people-loving person.
