people health

Hi,
When we are talking about "health of people, population" in general, is it "people health"? Is "public health" kind of system of health care or it could be as well about a state of health of people?
Thanks

“People’s Health” would likely concern the general health of ‘the people’ in a particular jurisdiction—such as a State, a Country, or even a continent. When there are no borders given, it might be the overall health of the world’s population. Global Warming, for example, would gradually affect the health of huge areas of the planet.
