People attend college and university for many different reasons.Why do you think people attend college or university?
Nowadays, more and more people try to attend the university. Different people do for different reasons. In my opinion, there are three common reasons. They are absorbing knowledge, having a new experiences and being respected.
Firstly, with the knowledge learned from the university we can understand deeply about things in our society and our world. Study is an interesting thing that makes our life rich and colorful. It expands our eyesight by informing us about things that we cannot gain from our ordinary life or experience.
Secondly, people attend university because they want to have new experiences. This usually means they will study in a different environment, meet a lot of friends who are different from those in their hometowns. Studying in university, students will often have to live far away from home. They have to make their own decision and be more independent.
The last reason why people tend to study in university is because they want to be respected. Everyone wants to be respected especially from friends, colleagues and their neighbors. Study has found that people tend to be self-confident when they are at the higher education. By the way, the higher education you have the easier jobs you can get.
All in all, there are many reasons that make people attend university but the three common reasons are absorbing knowledge, having new experiences and being respected.
