Vocabulary

pedal stool

Don’t place others on a pedal stool, while you view yourself as insignificant.

I get this phrase in a TEDx lecture. I just write it down per the pronunciation of the speaker. Then I search the online dictionary and I find this example sentence.

Could you tell me what it means?
