The general idea behind the form letter is to emphasize to the Client that the company is in dire need of early settlement without, of course, jeopardizing good client relationship. The letter must be strong enough to get the attention of the recipient but tactful in soliciting assistance from the managers to do what ever is best to conclude an early settlement.
