Pay Overdue Social Insurance Fund

Some companies pay the social insurance fund for the newly-hired employees after the probation period, so that if the employee leaves during the probation period, the company does not have to pay the social insurance fund for the employee.

But if the probation period is over and the employee still works for the company, the company has to pay for the social insurance fund of the probation period. It is a late pay. Is there a verb to describe it?

And I have another question here. Two people come from the same province/city/town are called __. (a noun here)
For example:
-Hi, my name is Mike. I am from XX province.
-Hi, I'm Mary. I am from that province, too.
-Really? It is so good to meet a __ here.

  • I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about, but a payment that relates to a period in the past is often referred to as 'a retroactive payment', so perhaps you might say that the company 'pays this amount retroactively'.
