Pay or Pay with?

I know that the following is correct without doubt.

1. Pay to somebody

2. Pay for something

3. Pay with cash / credit card / cheque

4. Pay $1000 for the PC

(If anything above is wrong please let me know)

How about this situation.

"what currency are you going to pay??"

"I'm going to pay with US dollar"---A

"I'm going to pay US dollar"---B

A or B ?? Which one is correct strictly speaking??
