Patricia Cornwell

Hello!
Have you ever read books by her? It's the Kay Scarpetta saga...
What do you think of them?

Hi Pieanne I read quite a few of her early books, but I began to feel that she was being overtaken by the need to produce stuff. At one point, I bagan to wonder about her mental health I found the story lines became increasingly bizzare, and always revolved around the same characters. Not that this is bad - but it was always her niece or herself, or a member of her family who was under threat, kidnapped, whatever.

Well, I understand, but I'm still hooked.
The one thing I don't like is that in her lastest book, "last precinct" I think, she' s started writing in the present tense, and it's hard to be part of the action when you read it. From the first pages on the next one "traces", soon to be published, it's the same...
