Past vs passed

Please help me provide with explanations regarding two sentences whether they are correct or nor.

1. Those days have long passed.

2. Those days have long been past.

Neither of those sounds right. I suggest:

Those days are long past.

No. You can't write "Those days have passed long". That is not correct.
