Past simple & Present Perfect
hello guys i have a question ,
today , i had a writing exam And there was a grammar question , the question was ..
The children ................. ( do ) their homework , Here it is !
and they wanted me to put the correct tense ,
i made it like this :-
The children did their homework , Here it is !
,, but after finishing the exam i aked the teacher and he said that my answer was surly WRONG , he said you should've made it like this :-
The children have done their homwork , Here it is !
and it could be like this :
The children have been dong their homework , here it is !
i think my answer and the answer with "have done" are correct , but i dont know ,, tell me the correct answer and why
