Hi guys! I have a question.

There is dialog:

A: Daria, have you ever been to Australia?

B: Yes, I went there last year.

A: What month did you go?

B: June.

A: Have you / did you visit (ed) Sydney?

The question is: is this a past simple or present perfect?

Assuming you are asking whether they went to Sydney on this trip, say "Did you visit Sydney?"
