past perfect with present perfect simple

I know I can write the scentence:

I had done it after I went to my friend's house.

But I cant write a scetnese with past perfect and after this (the next verb) present perfect simple, or can I?

I doubt it very much in the sort of pattern you cited, because those two tenses come from two different temporal viewpoints, but if you give an example, we can make a better assessment of what you're asking and make more specific comments. Nevertheless, without "after": I had seen him later the same day, I think, unless I've forgotten the exact sequence of events.
