Past perfect with Present perfect

1, Past perfect with Present perfect:
Can I write :

"I had done if after I have finished"
"I had done it after it has been completed"
...
2. two "had" in one sentence

"I had gone to the show after I had..."

Once I saw this form in a book.

3. Is "when" a time expression?

for ex:
I have/had/ done /did it when I saw him

Picnicyou dont need had dated Alice, because WHEN is a time expression. so:
I dated / knew Alice almost 3 years when/before I met Denise.
you should use past simple because when is an expresion of time

Because there is "had" i know the sentence with "had" came first. but its confusing because its like:

I was going home when a fire broke out?
