Hi,

I am sending an email to inform my managers why the email report was not sent automatically due to internet connection issues. The issue occurred a few hours ago. My sentence:

The internet connection had been lost when the report was sent.

Is this a correct sentence?

The internet connection had been lost when the report was sent. (Didn't you say above that it wasn't sent!)
