Past perfect in a sentence with present perfect in the main clause?

Hi. Is this correct? I want to know the past perfect at the end of sentence is correct or not.

They have run off without knowing how to use what they had learned.

I think this is correct?

They have done what they were asked to.

But is this correct?

They have done what they had been asked to.
